I made a little booklet expressing the journey of life. Life starts with a tricycle, moves to training wheels, and then finally an adult bike. All through the journey the cycler gains life experiences as represented by the paint splotches.
The book folds up and the bicycles move through the pages encouraging interaction.
For my design class we were given the challenge of making a toy for children. I made something I call Mag-Knits... it's a magnet inside a knitted pouch shaped like a square, circle, or triangle. The intention is that the child could match up the lines, represent things with the shapes, or build intuitively. The toy is meant to be open to interpretation and imagination!
